Each registration line is one payment a year, per country. There is no monthly billing. Each registration runs for 12 months from the date that country is registered and renews at the same price (Terms, section 5). Government, authority and scheme fees are passed through at cost, never marked up.

What are Ecotrel and Valorlux?

Ecotrel is Luxembourg's approved collective scheme for electrical equipment and batteries, and Valorlux is the approved packaging scheme, both supervised by the Administration de l'environnement. Luxembourg has no public producer-number register — membership of these schemes is your proof of compliance. Eldris arranges whichever your products require.

Do non-EU sellers need an Authorised Representative in Luxembourg?

Yes, if they sell directly to consumers there. A seller established outside Luxembourg appoints an authorised representative in Luxembourg for packaging (Regulation (EU) 2025/40, Article 45(3)) and for batteries (Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, Article 56(3)); for electronics it registers there through an authorised representative where it is not registered itself (Directive 2012/19/EU, Article 16(1)).
