WEEE EPR in Greece is mandatory under Greek Law 4819/2021 and the national producer-responsibility framework supervised by EOAN (the Hellenic Recycling Agency). Producers placing electrical equipment, batteries or packaged goods on the Greek market must enrol in EOAN's National Producer Register (EMPA) and contract a collective scheme for each stream. EPR registration in Greece costs £520 for Packaging, £655 for WEEE and £605 for Battery with Eldris — a one-off annual fee, never monthly. Pan-EU Amazon sellers whose stock reaches Greek customers carry the obligation directly; without an EMPA registration number, Greek fulfilment is non-compliant. Greece centralises producer registration in EOAN's National Producer Register, known as EMPA.
