Registration begins by applying via the Registro Integrado Industrial (RII-AEE), submitting proof of legal entity, VAT/Tax ID, fiscal address, and product catalogue details. You must determine all relevant EEE categories and select your chosen PRO (Producer Responsibility Organisation). Once provisionally accepted, you receive your WEEE registration number to include on invoices and commercial documents.

Documentation requirements include: company statutes, legal representative credentials, annual sales projections, and packaging/battery disclosures. Expect an approval timeline of 2–6 weeks depending on volumes and completeness of documentation.
