EPR registration in Norway is mandatory under the Norwegian Waste Regulations (avfallsforskriften), which mirror the EU WEEE, Battery and Packaging frameworks under the EEA Agreement and are supervised by the Norwegian Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet). Norway is unusual: Eldris sells it as a single all-in bundle covering WEEE, batteries and packaging together, rather than as separate per-stream registrations. EPR registration in Norway costs £1,190 one-off per year as the complete all-in bundle with Eldris — never monthly. Because Norway is in the EEA but outside the EU, sellers still need full producer responsibility and, for non-EEA sellers, an Authorised Representative. Eldris files the bundled registration across Miljødirektoratet, Grønt Punkt Norge and Batteriretur in one go.

Norwegian producers must hold registration and scheme membership across all three waste streams. Because the streams are administered together for Amazon-style sellers, Eldris registers Norway as one all-in bundle rather than three separate lines, issuing the combined membership evidence Amazon checks against. It is a distinct Norwegian registration and cannot be substituted with an EU member-state number.

Producers report the quantities and weight of electronics, batteries and packaging placed on the Norwegian market to Grønt Punkt Norge, Batteriretur and the WEEE system, typically reconciled in the first part of the year, and recovery contributions are calculated from those declared masses.
